How can the teachers/students access the material?

When the account is live, the person who created the account will be able to log in using the details they created when registering (username and password). When you logged in, you will be able to see two buttons at the top of the page on the right: ‘Do Phróifil’ and ‘Do Ghrúpa’. Click on ‘Do Ghrúpa’ and the Group Panel will open. This is where you invite teachers/students to be a part of the group i.e. to be able to access the material. There is an option to add people individually (we recommend doing this for the teachers) and another option to ‘import group members’. As there is a greater number of students involved, we recommend you download the sample CSV and input the student’s details according to the recommended layout. Each class teacher can do this this for their own students. Make sure everyone fills in their details on the same excel file. When all the student’s have been added to the excel file, all you need to do is click on ‘choose file’, add the completed excel and press ‘impost csv’. Everyone who was listed on the file will receive an invitation to join by email, if students click on this link they will be able to sign in using the details provided to them. They may create their own password at this point if they wish.

They will then have access to all of the material on the site at school and at home.

NOTE: Every account is linked to an email address, it is recommended that the student’s school email address be used. This data will be used for no other purpose beyond granting of access to the platform. Please find more information re GDPR here.

Make sure to share this information with the students so they will be able to login
